What’s the difference between total carbs and net carbs, and why do you highlight net carbs?
There are two types of carbs- one that digests slowly, and one that digests quickly. The one that digests at a slow speed releases energy slowly into the blood, while the one that digests quickly releases energy super fast, too. This causes a sudden rise in blood sugar levels.
The second, ‘fast-and-furious’ type of carbs are called net carbs. We ensure very little of them in our ice creams, which is why we highlight that.
How many servings in a pint?
Our pint-sized tubs contain 450ml of ice cream, which is approximately 4.5 servings.

HIGH PROTEIN:
What ingredients are used in TBC’s High Protein ice creams?
Much like any other ice cream, the first step is an ice cream base. Our base is made using milk and sweeteners, instead of milk/cream and sugar. Yes, we do. Nothing but the best for our consumers!
Is the ice cream sugar-free? Gluten-free?
No, our ice cream is not “sugar-free” as it does contain lactose, which is a naturally occurring sugar found in milk. However, there’s no added sugar.
The ice creams which don’t contain any bakery products in them are gluten-free.
Can I substitute my protein shake with your ice cream?
Of course! Protein is the building block of muscles, and our high protein ice creams contain 11g of high-quality protein per serve - making it the perfect replacement for your protein shake or protein bar.
Is it lactose-free?
No, our High Protein ice creams are not lactose-free. But we do have a vegan range that you can enjoy instead!
What makes TBC High Protein ingredients special?
TBC uses only the highest quality of ingredients sourced from around the world.
How do TBC High Protein ice creams contain so few calories?
Keeping our ice creams low in calories is very important to us! We do so using two methods. Firstly, we don’t use regular sugar, but use plant-based sweeteners like Stevia and Erythritol instead that provide the same sweetness, but with less than half the calories! Secondly, the quantum of fat in our ice creams is also lower compared to others, reducing calories here too!
With this combination, we are able to reduce the number of calories drastically.
How do TBC High Protein ice creams compare to other protein products?
More often than not, high protein products end up tasting a little different than what you’d want. However, our ice creams are super binge-worthy, with no compromise on taste! So while you maintain your diet and lifestyle with high protein, you also get the feeling of enjoying a premium dessert.
What’s the difference between TBC High Protein V/S Normal Ice cream?
Normal ice creams do have around 4 g protein per 200 ml but TBC’s High Protein range has over 11g high-quality protein per 200 ml. Big difference!
Are the TBC High Protein ice creams nut-free?
The Vanilla & Chocolate Twist from our High Protein Range is nut-free.

KETO:
What is a Keto diet?
A Keto diet involves consuming a lower number of carbohydrates and a higher amount of fat. This puts the body into a state of ‘ketosis’, where it begins to derive energy from fat stores rather than carbohydrates. Interesting, right?
What ingredients are used in TBC’s Keto ice creams?
Much like any other ice cream, the first step is an ice cream base. Our base is made using milk and sweeteners, instead of milk/cream and sugar. This is then topped up with ingredients such as peanuts, brownie bits, cookies etc. depending on the flavour you choose :) For our keto range, in particular, we’ve made sure to use ingredients that all have a low to no GI value or carb content so as to keep the net carbs to a minimum!
What makes our ice cream Keto?
It’s important to know what keto-friendly ice cream is. Keto-friendly ice cream has very few net carbs- less than 6 gm per serve. Our ice creams contain net carbs ranging from just 1 - 2 g per serving, making them very, very keto-friendly!
Is the ice cream sugar-free? Gluten-free? Lactose-free?
Our ice creams are not sugar-free, as they do contain lactose, which is a naturally occurring sugar found in milk. However, there is no added sugar. Our Keto ice creams are gluten-free, as there are no bakery products in these ice creams.
What makes TBC Keto ingredients special?
We want to make sure that we help every sweet tooth out there hit their sweet spot, without compromising on their lifestyle, no matter what it is. With that in mind, for our Keto range, we only used ingredients that have extremely low net carbs.

All of our ice creams have a low GI value and are therefore suitable for anyone looking to stay away from blood sugar spikes. However, if you have any predetermined medical condition, we recommend that you check with your doctor before indulging in any products- not just ours.
Why are Keto Collection flavours higher in calories and fat than other TBC ice creams?
The Keto diet focuses on reducing carbs, it is a diet that’s high in fat and moderate in protein. Since fats contain more than twice as many calories per gram than proteins and carbohydrates, any product that’s higher in fat is likely to have a higher calorie count. However, compared to other premium ice creams, our Keto range still has lower fat and fewer calories per serving. Pretty cool, huh?
